Historians of the Air Force History and Museums Program (AFH&MP) are working on a book on the U.S. Air Force and the first year of Operation Noble Eagle (ONE). \u00a0The ONE volume will include material on the USAF air defense response to the 9\/11 attacks. \u00a0Other AFH&MP historians are researching and writing volumes that will cover Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. \u00a0The books will be part of a multivolume series being written for the USAF chief of staff\u2019s office under the tentative title “Airmen at War”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
